How to Apply

International Students (F-1 Student Visa)

If you are an international student who needs an F-1 student visa, use the button below to apply online. This includes new international students and students who are transferring from another university in the United States.

You will need the following documentation in order to apply online:

• Passport
• Official bank statement - Bank statements need to be provided in English. A letter from the bank translated in English may also be acceptable.
• Affidavit of Support (if you have a sponsor other than yourself)

If you will bring dependents (a spouse and/or children) with you to the United States, you will also need:

• Passports for each dependent

If you are transferring from another institution in the United States, you will also need the following documents:

• SEVIS I-20 form
• Visa/I-94

Students who do not need an F-1 Visa

Applicants who do not need an F-1 visa may use the button above to apply online. This includes U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents (Green Card holders) and B1/B2 and other Visas. You will need to submit:

• Copies of your passport and visa, I-94, or other documents related to your visa status.

Steps to complete the application:

• First Time User click on "Create an account."
• Fill in Temporary PIN sent to your email address.
• Reconfirm your birth date and click Login button.
• Scroll down and click "Start New Application."
• Select ESL Application from the drop down menu.
• Click on "Create Application," then click on "Open Application." 
• Upload the required documents listed above.

After completion of your application:

• Check your email frequently for communications about your application.
• After admission to our program, you will receive an email with your I-20 and further instructions.
• Your admission letter is available in your application portal. Log in as a Returning User to download the letter. You will not receive a copy via email.
